OUR COMMUNITY AND MISSIONS

CUB SCOUTS

Saint Peter UCC is the host and sponsoring organization to Cub Scout Pack 140.

BOY SCOUTS

Saint Peter UCC is the founding organization, host and sponsor to Boy Scout Troop 140.

COVENTRY FOOD PANTRY

Saint Peter UCC supports the Coventry Food Pantry, an organization that is run by four volunteers and serves about 90 families from areas of Montgomery County, North Coventry and Pottstown that are not served by the larger food banks.  CFP relies on community generosity, since it can not count on regular deliveries from the state.

NEEDLE NIGHT CRAFTING & COMPASSION QUILTS

Our crafters meet in Detterline Hall regularly to work on their own projects, or help someone with theirs.  This time of fellowship has become an important part of our weeks, as we celebrate each other and our makings.  In addition, our Needle Night crafters are making quilts for distribution to members of our community that have a need, or something important to celebrate.

CARE MINSTRY TEAM

The Care Ministry Team is working as a group providing spiritual, emotional and tangible care to Saint Peter UCC's church family.  The team offers support through personal visits, telephone calls, reaching out to members we have not seen in church in a while, preparing meals, giving rides to medical appointments, and any other assistance that is needed.

"IN IAN'S BOOTS" MISSION FOR SOLES

The Care Ministry Team of Saint Peter UCC collects on an ongoing basis new and gently-used shoes and seasonal boots (babies, children of all ages, adults) and men's work boots.  Sneakers are needed for the warmer months.  A "shoe box" for your donations is in Detterline Hall.

SAINT PETER UCC COMMUNITY DINNERS

The last Friday of each month, Saint Peter UCC hosts a community dinner.  This is a time for members of our community to gather together, and celebrate each other, over a hot meal.  This meal is by donation.  All are welcome!

Alcoholics Anonymous

St Peter UCC has been a longtime supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous.  There's an AA meeting every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in the undercroft (basement) of the church.
