Saint Peter Community

in Worship and Prayer

Because of stay-at-home and social distancing requirements due to the coronavirus epidemic, the Saint Peter congregation has been unable to meet together in person.  During this challenging time we have expanded our online offerings with special devotional and video messages prepared by Pastor Peter Detterline.  You can access these materials on your computer, tablet or phone.

We are also staying in touch with our members and friends through our Facebook page, as well as regular email messages with the latest information about our activities and plans.  Just scroll down to the bottom of this page sign up.  You don't have to be a member to participate in the extended Saint Peter community.  Welcome to all!

Now that Chester County has "gone green," live Sunday services have resumed.

Services begin at 10:30 a.m. in Detterline Hall.

Face masks are required, and social distancing guidelines apply.

We offer Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month.

Special no-contact provisions have been introduced for everyone's safety.

'Faces by the Cross'

'Faces by the Cross' is a series of role-playing performances portraying different characters in the Lent and Easter story.  The performances are intended to humanize and personalize the story of the Passion of Christ and the Resurrection, according to Pastor Detterline.  “Our goal is to bring these characters to life in a way that’s both entertaining and relatable, both for our congregation and for people in the community seeking to reconnect with their faith.  We want to give people the opportunity to experience what it was like to be there and to witness these events.”
